His voice is being heard. I saw big “O” speak off of LaBrea and Exposition Blvd-my old hood. That was almost a year ago right when he jumped on the campaign trail. Look at the guy now :>

Blogs:

1. Milky Plastique
Chris Do highlights big hitters and little jems in this design/animation blog. He keeps it updated well and if you browse through the work you will not be disappointed.

2. Jedidiah
I continue to see the inspiring clothing as this company grows-6+years. It is more than a company though. I recently spent time with the owner/founder, Kevin Murray, and I know the brand stands for a lot more than surface aesthetics. Keep spreading the love.

3. Armistead Booker
Armi, we call him. I recently met Armi in Nica and have started digging through this blog-Wow. I recommend you dig through it to.

4. David Choe
Bringing the thunder with every move. David is one of my favorite contemporary artists. His off the wall aproach always makes shit interesting. There is nevera dull moment.

5. Alex Pardee
A plethora of artists can put color patches down, foundations, bgs, what have you, but few have mastered line work like Alex. Just watch the time lapses.

Painting Suppliers:

1. Nova Color
I can’t believe this, the curator of AKA Lounge in Orlando, Chris Johnson, called one of my paintings out…”That’s Nova Color right?” “what, how did you know that?” I said. “YES, and I recommend it to every artist that uses acrylics!”

2. Art Primo
All graff supplies - keep pumping them out baby.

Music:

1. Solillaquists of Sound
What can I say about Swam- a lyricist, painter, sk8er…etc // check out their music. If you like eclectic hip hop then you will dig Lilla.

2. Uba
Having lived in Somalia and Sweden Uba is well aware of cultural differences. She is the most confident person I know and she has an amazing stage presence.

3. Chelsea
Chelsea walks a different path; she is an inspiration as a musician and artist and really whatever she gets her hands on. She is fully aware of her surroundings and you can feel her rooted experiences in her music.

4. Michael Brunnock
I was just playing a track and my girlfriend said, “He sounds like James Taylor.” Michael is an extraordinary lyricist and you can really feel the soul in his music. He is from Ireland but has lived in NY long enough where he has molded between cultures- great music.

5. TaliaSafa
Congratulations on getting the 9 year CD project wrapped up. Check out the dynamic, internationally-acclaimed, superstar duo.

6. Braddigan
A refreshing Indie band. Acoustic / Rock / Reggae with influences from Bob Marley, Jack Johnson and Paul Simon

Photography:

1. Brian Nevins
Base player when not shooting photographs-cool cat. You rarely find Nevins without a smoke and some Joe. His pics speak for themselves-SICK.

2. Esther Havens
I met Esther on my recent trip to Nicaragua. She works mainly for non-prof organizations and spends most of her time out of the country.
Her photos are potent. Her composition is strong and the colors are rad.

3. Luiz Maximiano
Luiz speaks Portuguese, Spanish and English fluently. His work is phenomenal. In early 2007 he was awarded Canon Prize for best photojournalist in the Netherlands.

In a world where people are often divided by borders, difference, and conflict, it’s easy to lose sight of what we all have in common. Pangea Day seeks to overcome that - to help people see themselves in others - through the power of film.
